History

Delta Dental of New Mexico—with its affiliates in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, and Tennessee—is part of a family of companies that collectively paid out more than $2.2 billion for dental care for 8.6 million enrollees in 2011.

Delta Dental of New Mexico is a not-for-profit corporation that has been providing dental benefit plans for New Mexico residents since 1973. Today, more than 400,000 New Mexico residents in 1,750 employer groups are covered by plans administered by Delta Dental. Offices for Delta Dental of New Mexico are located in Albuquerque.
